Moonie King, Director
Tepehua Clinic

Ms. Moonyen King was born in Germany and met her husband Perry when he was serving in the US Armed forces as a civil engineer—they traveled the world together as Perry was building Airports, both Military and civilian.  They retired in Ajiic, Mexico, on the shores of Lake Chapala.  Ms King then founded the Tepehua clinic 7 years ago and has continued as the Director to date.  Her dedication and contribution has saved hundreds of lives  and prevented disease amongst children and young mothers.

Our relationship with the clinic began 6 years ago while visiting the Ajiic area on a Rotary mission for supporting high school tuition for under privileged Mexican children.  Seguin Rotarian, Peter Glawe, met Ms. King and her husband, and was introduced to the Tepehua clinic, which was in its infancy at that time.
